IBARAKI International Airport

We started a promotion from April, 2020 that individual travelers utilizing Ibaraki Airport and staying at hotels, inns in Ibaraki Prefecture can use an access bus (a highway bus or a local bus) for free one way to Ibaraki Airport from either Mito Station, Tsukuba Center or Ishioka Station.

All the highway bus services between Ibaraki Airport and Tsukuba Center are currently suspended due to the influence of COVID-19.

Passengers utilizing Ibaraki Airport, staying at hotels, inns and other accommodation facilities in Ibaraki Prefecture can use a bus for free one way to Ibaraki Airport from either Mito station, Tsukuba Center or Ishioka Station.

How to use this benefit?

When using the bus, please show the bus conductor an accommodation certificate or a receipt including the copy to prove your stay at the accommodation facility.

• The accommodation certificate and the receipt including the cpoy will not be returned.
• If a passenger gets off the bus before Ibaraki Airport, the benefit becomes invalid, and standard price of the fare is required to pay.
• Accommodation certificates in any style prepared by the accommodation facilities will do. If not available, please ask the hotels and the like for issuing one using the back of this paper.

Valid period

Within a week after leaving the accommodation facility. (ex. When leaving a hotel on Monday, this system is available by Sunday.)
