Skymark Airlines to Launch Ibaraki – Fukuoka, Ibaraki – Nagoya Service from April 18th, 2014

Today, Mr. Nishikubo, President and CEO of Skymark Airlines Inc. visited the Governor of Ibaraki Prefecture, Mr. Hashimoto, and announced the launch of Ibaraki – Fukuoka and Ibaraki – Nagoya services from April 18th, 2014.
Skymark will offer two daily flights for Fukuoka and one daily flight for Nagoya. With the launch of these services, Ibaraki Airport domestic routes will expand to six.
Ticket sales will start from January 29th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Enjoy the trips to our new destinations!

- I believe that expanding routes to new destinations will build recognition, which is essential for new airports like Ibaraki Airport.
- A great number of people live in the Kita-Kanto Area (the region located in the north of Tokyo consisting of Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma Prefectures), and for those people, it is much more convenient to use Ibaraki Airport than Haneda or Narita.
