Programmed Charter Flights between Ibaraki and Taipei will be Operated!!

Taiwanese airline, TransAsia Airways will operate 44 (single trip basis) inbound programmed charter flights between Ibaraki and Taipei from January until April next year.

TransAsia Airways is the third largest airline in Taiwan and has operated chartered flights the most since the Ibaraki Airport opened. Travelers from Taiwan will arrive at Ibaraki Airport and visit Japan through these charter flights.

* Inbound Programmed Charter
Consecutive chartered flights for a certain period of time operated only for passengers from Taiwan to visit Japan.

Comment from Governor Hashimoto

I am pleased that the TransAsia Airways’ programmed charter flights between Ibaraki and Taipei are becoming a reality. I hope that more travelers from Taiwan will visit Japan utilizing Ibaraki Airport.

  • Airline: TransAsia Airways
    * Charter flight experience to Ibaraki Airport: 63 flights (single trip basis)
  • No. of Flights: 44 flights (Single trip basis)〔23 round trips (operates every 4 days)〕
  • Service Period: From Monday, January 21st, 2013 until Friday, April 19th, 2013
  • Aircraft: A321 (182 seats)
